Stephanie and Jason at Oceancliff in Newport

Posted by Trish: They had some awesome details! Seeing this cake was a real wow moment! It was so big and glam, the green was really fun too. Stephanie stuck to her apple green and blue theme for the reception with the help of Jay at Golden Gate...

The apples were very cool!

The green printing on this blue menu card was pretty sweet...

And thanks again to nature for more green stuff, limes in the arrangements! Nature doesn't make many blue things though...

My favorite thing were the table numbers, they used photos from our photo date session we did back in the Fall. Very nice! Of course we kept the colors in mind when shooting...

How cute is this baby? She has such a Gerber baby face, I love how her blue eyes and pink lips match her dress perfectly! She passed out not long after this photo was taken. By Melissa

They are totally facebooking this!!!!!!!!! Melissa got such a kick out of these girls on their phones...

We ventured out back for some photos before they joined the cocktail hour...

The hills are alive with the sound of wedding music...

The happily sat right down in the grass for me, maybe they we buzzed on the champagne and didn't really know what I was saying. Actually they were very willing subjects. Melissa caught this one.

More blue and green fabulousness...Awesome!

There's never too much smooching!

This feels so carefree and happy, they really were!

The big entrance! Melissa got this shot from the back, so cool!

The first dance, I think htese guys took lessons, it was well done!

Ta da!

The hora is always a scary proposition, but I have yet to see anyone fall out of the chair so far. But it's early in the season yet...

A toast by the bride's sister. I loved Stephanie's bracelet!

Cheers!

She had a serious dance with her Dad at first and then they broke out into fun dancing!

This was the serious part...

I never really appriciated the mother-son dance...but now that I have a son it makes me cry every time!!!

Cake truly is so fun! Cake by Corby's Cookies and Cakes

And also romantic and traditional.

Stephanie was totally into the dancing...

The flower girl having some fun...

It was like a club in there! They had Synergy Band and they were OFF THE HOOK! They played all kinds of fun dance music.

Cute!

MIKE! NO! Look at that attitude, he doesn't care. At least Melissa is working...

The music was so fun, everybody was dancing like crazy!

Parting is such sweet sorrow, the end of the day. It's always such a bummer when it ends. But at least we have the photos to relive it all over and over again!!!

Katie and Steve at Belle Mer 5.09.09 Part 2

Posted by Mariah

Our continuing adventures include a wardrobe malfunction! Ooops- don't worry though, Giggles and I snag the veil before it blows into the bay... Bob Manning got some great live action footage of the rescue which I will post next week!
Katie and the girls- everyone looks so great in the cobalt blue dresses.

The whole gang. They may look like a mild mannered bunch but just wait until they are announced into the reception.

The guys really wanted to wear their caps for a photo. Pretty cute- there was some confusion about caps vs. no caps, so we did both. I vote caps.

The bridesmaids thought ahead and got these umbrellas for Katie just in case... luckily we didn't need them, but it made for a fun prop anyway.

Katie is so lovely.

... but she's a menace on the courts- here she is giving Stuart from Belle Mer a run for his money. Stuart had the staff at Belle Mer sign this basket ball for Katie. I think in the last photo Stuart has the look of defeat written all over his face..

Beachy cake...

This is a fun group- the bridal party got very creative with their entrances- my personal fave is Alli surfing on Chewie's back.

Too bad this is going to be a boring reception...

Funny and sweet toasts from the older siblings.

Let the dancing begin! Erin, Katie and Chewie cutting a rug.

Nobody puts Katie in the corner!

Where do you think Katie gets these moves?! That's her mom in the middle.

Bye Keefe's! I am only sad that there isn't another Keefe daughter or son for me to photograph. Guess I'll have to wait about 25 years for Braydon to grow up! I'm patient.
Thank you so much for having Giggles and I at both Erin and Katie's weddings. We feel like honorary Keefe's!
