Now Miley Cyrus's nine-year-old sister launches risqué clothing line for pre-teens

Controversy: Miley Cyrus and little sister Noah spotted arriving at a recording studio together last week

Miley Cyrus's nine-year-old sister is set to raise eyebrows again with news she is launching a clothing line for children.

Noah, who is not even high school age yet, is teaming up with best friend Emily Grace Reaves, eight, and Ooh! La, La! Couture designers for the project.

The two youngsters will release the 'trendy, sweet, yet edgy' designs in time for Valentine's Day.

However, parents may raise an eyebrow or two at the grown-up nature of the slightly risqué designs.

They are creating 'versatile styles' which can be worn with ballerina slippers or trainers, or paired with lace stockings and boots for a more rock and roll look.

The Emily Grace Collection will appeal not just to little girls - the line also has an exclusive Teen Collection available to a size 14.

But whatever spin is put on it, some will see the venture as a little perverse.

Double act: The youngster is set to launch a clothing line with actress Emily Grace Reaves, left, who starred with Miley in Hannah Montana: The Movie

Back in October, Noah caused controversy when she attended a Halloween party dressed in a black lace-up mini dress with PVC knee-high boots.

She completed her overly grown-up look with a face full of make-up and lashings of red lipstick.

According to CocoPerez.com, Reaves, who played Cindy Lou in Hannah Montana: The Movie, wore one of her creations - a leopard-print mini-dress, lace tights and fingerless black gloves - in a promotional video with Noah.

Haunting: Brittany Murphy pictured in Los Angeles on the set of her last film Abandoned this summer

This haunting picture is Brittany Murphy on the set of what will be her final movie.

The actress, who died of a heart attack on Sunday, is seen in Los Angeles shooting the psychological thriller Abandoned, which she only finished filming in the late summer.

In the movie Murphy, 32, stars as Mary Walsh, a woman who believes her husband has vanished and is fighting not only to find him but to counter threats to her own life and sanity.

Director Michael Feifer told U.S website People: 'Brittany was a pro. When she needed to turn it on, she just threw a switch and she was on.

'She was that good at her craft. So playing frantic came really easy and playing sweet came really easy.'

The flick, also starring Dean Cain, Mimi Rogers and Peter Bogdanovich, is now expected to be released early next year.

The tragic actress plays Mary Walsh in the psychological thriller, a woman who believes her husband has vanished, seen here with co-star Peter Bogdanovich

Responding to reports the actress was difficult to work with, Feifer added: 'It hurts me to hear all this salacious stuff because my experience with Brittany was really one of my best experiences with an actress.'

Abandoned is believed to be the last film Murphy completed. She later did work on a horror film called The Caller in Puerto Rico.

However she was reportedly fired for being difficult in November - although her agent insists Murphy and the production mutually parted ways over 'creative differences'.

Murphy, who was best known for her roles in 8 Mile with rapper Eminem, Just Married and Girl, Interrupted, died on Sunday morning after going into cardiac arrest.

[starttext]
A large ball of fire streaking across the night time skies just after midnight had many Utahn's wondering what they saw early Wednesday morning.

Dozens of calls came with people wondering if they saw a shooting star, others wondered if it was the end of the world, military testing, or even a UFO.

People from Mona to Spanish Fork from Ogden to Bountiful all calling in a very similar sighting More...

To many, it looked like a large fall of fire, lightning up the sky, some say like daylight, others reported a blue like light that lasted for about 30 seconds.

And many reported hearing a boom about 5 minutes later.

Utah's NASA and Solar System Ambassador Patrick Wiggins said that it was a meteor also known as a bolide.

From his observatory near Stansbury Park he says the break up of the meteor occured at about 240 to 250 degrees azimuth which puts it just north of southwest.

He also heard the sound of an explosion that would put the breakup of the bolide about 100 km in that direction placing it high above Granite Peak in the west desert.

Berlin remembers the fall

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0xM1sHtadYendofvid

Twenty years on, millions celebrate fall of hated wall

BEFORE A gleaming Brandenburg Gate, Berlin partied last night like it was 1989. Germany and the world recalled the Berlin Wall, the hated physical reminder of Europe’s ideological division, and the glorious night 20 years ago when Churchill’s Iron Curtain was ripped down.

“For us, this is when the impossible became possible,” said chancellor Angela Merkel, born in west Germany and raised in the socialist east. The beaming German leader welcomed world leaders and millions of visitors to the Brandenburg Gate, serenaded by Derry-born singer Johnny McDaid whose song We are One, co-written with Berlin DJ Paul Van Dyk, was chosen as the anthem of the 20th anniversary.

“I wanted to get across the simple unity of celebration, of what happened in 1989 and how far Germany has come since then,” he said backstage. “It’s incredible looking out at hundreds of thousands of people celebrating, many of whom weren’t even alive 20 years ago.”

Between musical interludes, leaders toppled outsized Berlin Wall-like dominos decorated by schoolchildren from around the world and placed along the former death strip – now a harmless line of cobblestones in the street.

Irish actor and Berlin resident John Keogh remembered yesterday how, after a day’s work in east Berlin 20 years ago, he was caught up in the historical event. “I remember the atmosphere of disbelief mixed with euphoria,” he said, “and a man carrying an enormous chunk of the wall, laughing wildly to himself.”

Few in the crowds at the Brandenburg Gate let the persistent drizzle dampen the mood. After a two-decade transformation – from cold war no-man’s-land to Germany’s reborn capital, the city centre streets of Berlin were the scene of a second all-night party fuelled by sparkling white wine, wurst and fireworks.
