Summer read: Katie Price launches her new book Paradise at HMV in London today surrounded by muscular, half-naked men
She's not exactly known for choosing her words carefully.
But even Katie Price may have gone too far this time when she said children that come from divorced families are 'lucky'.
Appearing on This Morning yesterday, the glamour model said they were probably better off than those whose parents were still together as they got 'extra' presents.
Speaking to hosts Eamon Holmes and Ruth Langsford, Katie, who was at HMV in London today to launch her new book Paradise, said: 'Any child that has parents who are divorced are lucky. They get extra Christmas presents, birthday presents and extra trips.'
And she added that she was glad that she split from Peter Andre while her children - Harvey, seven, Junior, five and three-year-old Princess - were young, as they will 'forget' about the split when they are older.
Number one: Katie sticks her finger up in the hope her book will do well, before throwing a sexy pose to the camera
She said:: 'I revert back to when my mum and dad split up. I was three or four and I can't even remember it.
'So really it was good it happened at that age because if it had happened when the kids were a bit older then I think it probably could have affected them.'
Katie, 32, who appeared on the show to promote her new book, then compared herself to a 'chipmunk' after a recent bout of Botox.
She said: 'I look like a chipmunk today!
Lucky: Katie Price, appearing on This Morning yesterday, said children from divorced families are on to a winner
Sofa chat: Katie talks to Eamon Holmes and Ruth Langsford about divorce, her pop career and Botox
'Do you know, on my Hen we all had filler, Botox, lip, and I said, "No, I’m not doing it again!" They’re like, "Oh we did Kate", and I’m like, "Oh go on, I’ll have a little bit."
'But when I had it done… it looked awful but it’s all going down now. The thing is, it doesn’t last forever which is good. But no, I still look like a chipmunk.
'Yeah, it’s mad, but then I blame my friends and my family because we all did it.'
Furry rodent: Katie said a recent Botox treatment had left her looking like a 'chipmunk'
Katie then went on to declare that that she plans to carry on singing and wants to release another single - despite her recent one being a huge chart flop.
She said: 'I am going to bring out something again. I don’t want to do music as a career, but I love singing. I’m not a singer but I love doing it.'
And Katie, whose latest book is book is the number one fiction hard back seller after less than a week on sale, slammed her critics who said her popularity is on the decline.
She said: 'I think it’s absolute nonsense. My signings – I did one on Saturday for my equestrian range – it was absolutely packed, it was brilliant, it was fantastic.
Everything’s up, my books are selling really well. But you know, it’s the dramas that the papers write.'
Extra presents: Katie, seen here with daughter Princess last week, said she is lucky as she gets two Christmases and two birthdays
